Roadmap: Omniassets on ATLAS
Published
Omnisea plans to create ATLAS markets for selected Omniassets and bring their trading directly into Asset Pages. Existing tokens will be able to expand to Zero, open a market, and become tradable from the same place holders use to transfer and explore them.
This adds the next step to token expansion. Omnisea already gives an existing asset a path to new chains. With ATLAS, Omnisea will also create its market on Zero and provide the venue through which users can trade it.
A trading layer built for products
LayerZero describes ATLAS as a headless exchange built on Zero. ATLAS will not operate its own consumer frontend. Instead, products will build trading venues on top of it and own the complete experience for their users.
That model fits Omnisea directly. ATLAS will provide the market infrastructure on Zero. Omnisea will provide the asset distribution, token pages, market discovery, and trading interface built around it.
One product, two roles
Omnisea plans to participate in ATLAS as both a market creator and a trading venue. As a market creator, we will launch selected Omniasset markets on Zero. As a trading venue, we will make those markets accessible directly from their Asset Pages, giving each token a focused place for distribution, discovery, and trading.
LayerZero's announced ATLAS economics reward both roles. Open ATLAS trading venues receive a tier-based rebate of 20% to 65% of trading fees, based on ZRO stake and/or aggregate volume. After that venue rebate, 25% of the remaining fees goes to the market creator, while 75% is used to buy and burn ZRO.
This gives Omnisea a direct economic reason to do both jobs well: bring useful assets to Zero, create markets around them, and build the product through which holders reach those markets. More successful Omniassets can produce more transfers, more trading volume, and more value for their token teams and market makers.
Why this matters for real-world assets
AMMs work best when pool liquidity is deep relative to trade size. Tokenized funds, equities, commodities, and other large assets often begin with concentrated ownership and thinner onchain liquidity, so a larger swap against a pool curve can create meaningful price impact and slippage. ATLAS provides exchange-style execution instead: an integrated engine for matching, clearing, settlement, and risk, with orders and market makers continuously pricing each market. That structure is better suited to efficient price discovery and settlement for real-world assets.
The asset inventory already exists across the chains Omnisea supports. Tokenized funds such as BUIDL,
BENJI, and
OUSG are live across Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, and Polygon. Ethereum also hosts credit assets such as
USD3 and tokenized stocks such as
CRCLon and
NVDAon;
XAUm brings tokenized gold to BNB Chain; and Robinhood Chain is built around
Stock Tokens. Omnisea will give selected assets a route to Zero as Omniassets and connect them to ATLAS markets through a consistent trading and settlement experience, while each original asset remains on its existing chain.
From token expansion to a live market
Consider an Ethereum asset such as USD3. Omnisea will expand it to Zero as USD3 and connect it to an ATLAS market such as USD3/USD. Holders will be able to open the USD3 Asset Page, transfer the token, inspect its activity, and trade it without moving between separate products.
Token teams will gain a clearer expansion path. A new chain will no longer mean only making the asset available there. It will also mean launching a discoverable market and giving holders a direct route into it.
One page for the complete asset
Omniasset pages are becoming the home for each cross-chain asset. They bring together the original token, destination representations, transfer routes, metadata, and activity across chains.
ATLAS trading will extend that page with live markets. A holder will be able to find the asset, understand where it came from, move it between chains, and trade it through one consistent interface.
Our roadmap
Our plan is to support Zero as an Omniasset destination, launch ATLAS markets for selected Omniassets, and embed trading directly into their Asset Pages. Omnisea will act as both the market creator and the trading venue, working with token teams and market makers to turn chain expansion into active market expansion.
Omnisea gives existing tokens a bridge and explorer without asking their teams to build cross-chain infrastructure from scratch. With ATLAS, the same product will also give them a trading venue on Zero.
